Sue Doughty being interviewed on Radio Lion

Sue Doughty went to the Royal Surrey County Hospital and took part in a programme about her favourite things on Radio Lion today.

Radio Lion is the radio station for the Royal Surrey County Hospital, keeping patients company throughout their stay. It provides a wide range of music, entertainment, requests, information, competitions and specialist features for all its listeners! Radio Lion is on air every evening during the week and all day at weekends. All the programmes are presented and produced by trained volunteers and each brings their own style and personality to every show - making it fun and varied for the listener.

"I really enjoyed visiting the RSCH and the interview on Radio Lion, who perform a vital service and can really lift patients' spirits when in hospital. It's fantastic to see the effort and talent which volunteers put into helping others."
