Sue Doughty calls for community hospital funds to go to Cranleigh

Liberal Democrat candidate for the Guildford constituency, Sue Doughty, has called for Cranleigh Hospital to be included when allocating new funds for community hospitals announced by the Secretary of State for Health.

Sue said:

"Cranleigh hospital provides an important service to the local community. A share in the funding proposed by the Secretary of State would not only ensure a stable future for the hospital, but could mean local provision of a wider range of services to people in the Cranleigh area.

"This will not only be better for people in Cranleigh, but will take some pressure off the Royal Surrey making services better for everyone in the area."
