LIB DEMS IN GOOD HEART FOR PARTY CONFERENCE

Sue Doughty MP ahead of the Lib Dem Conference which starts on Sunday in Brighton said "I am very much looking forward to this Conference. As usual we will be discussing a range of policy issues on matters which affect the people of Britain. In addition to a strong environmental agenda Lib Dems will be discussing public services including health, education and social care. Business will also be a subject for two debates 'Setting Business Free' and 'Prosperity at Homes and Abroad'"

Baroness Margaret Sharp of Guildford, Lib Dem Spokesman on Education in the House of Lords who has been working on developing Liberal Democrats Policy on Higher Education will be introducing a high profile debate on the subject on Tuesday afternoon in the main conference hall.

Sue Doughty will be speaking on green issues and in particular in the debate on Forest Law Enforcement. She will also be chairing a number of green fringe events
