New MP takes seat in Commons

Sue Doughty, Guildford's first woman MP has been sworn in as a Member of Parliament.

Sue chose to make the affirmation of loyalty to the Queen and her heirs and has now officially signed the book.

Early days as an MP have been spent in setting up a constituency office to deal with case work and appointments. She now has a new telephone number at the Guildford office: 01483 306000
